What is home automation and what does it give you?
Home automation integrates lighting, blinds, climate, security and communications so they work as a single system. The result is a home or building that is more comfortable, safer and more efficient.
We work with wired and wireless systems and with indoor and outdoor networks, depending on the project: new build, full refurbishment or extending an existing installation.
- Comfort: automated lights, blinds, curtains and sockets.
- Automatic climate control by zone and schedule.
- Savings: managed electricity, gas and water consumption.
- Irrigation and services triggered by time or events.
- Presence simulation while you are away.
- Technical alarms and automatic supply shut-off.
- Remote monitoring and control of the property.
KNX and Loxone: the platforms we work with
We have been a certified KNX Partner since 2006 (no. 11093). KNX is an open international standard: devices from hundreds of manufacturers share the same bus, so the installation can grow in the future.
We are also a Loxone Partner. Loxone is a tightly integrated ecosystem with a central server and its own app — a good fit when you want one complete, consistent solution.
We recommend one or the other based on the property, the budget and how you expect the system to evolve.
How we run an automation project
- Brief: we analyse your needs and work with the architect from the start.
- Design: system architecture, devices and integration with the other building services.
- Site management and installation: we coordinate the trades on site.
- Programming: we configure the system so the home works exactly the way you want.
- Handover and maintenance: training, plus support for reviews, extensions and maintenance.
Model home: a real installation
Our 65 m² model home with garden uses distributed KNX components, which saves wiring and avoids a large central automation cabinet.
It includes dimmable lighting scenes in the living room and bedrooms, motorised blinds, climate and irrigation control, two touch panels, remote access with IP cameras, flood sensors in the kitchen, bathroom and utility room that shut off the main water supply, and a smoke detector with phone alerts.
Who is it for?
