Structured cabling and fibre optics

We install the complete data network — copper or fibre — from servers, switches and routers to every workstation, and we certify and repair fibre links.

At a glanceDomolife installs structured cabling (UTP copper and fibre optics) in Valencia, Spain: cable runs in trays or walls, telecom rack assembly, connections from servers, switches and routers to workstations, plus installation, OTDR certification and repair of single-mode and multimode fibre.

What’s included

  • Network runs

In existing or new trays or through walls.

  • Copper and fibre

UTP or fibre depending on distances and needs.

  • Racks

Design, advice and assembly of telecom racks.

  • OTDR certification

Link and splice measurement to guarantee the installation.

  • Single-mode and multimode

Installation and certification of both fibre types.

  • Repairs

Faulty connectors or breaks along the fibre run.

Data network installation

Our cabling service covers everything needed to get any network running, copper or fibre: connections from servers to switches and routers through to workstations, the cable runs and final commissioning.

Fibre optic installation and certification

A professional installation must follow international standards and be backed by certification. After installing, splicing and terminating, each fibre is tested for continuity, polarity and insertion loss, and any issue is fixed.

On long runs with splices along the way, OTDR (optical time-domain reflectometer) testing is the way to confirm every splice is correct. We also measure transmitter and receiver power to check the system is operating properly.

Telecom racks

We design, advise on and assemble tidy, documented racks with patch panels and cable management, so the network is easy to maintain and extend.

Who is it for?

  • Offices moving into or refurbishing premises.
  • Warehouses and industry with long distances.
  • Buildings that need certified networks.
  • Sites with damaged fibre.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is structured cabling?

A building’s network infrastructure — cables, outlets, racks and patch panels — organised to standards to connect servers, switches, routers and workstations.

Why certify fibre with an OTDR?

An OTDR measures every section and splice and locates faults; it is how you guarantee a fibre installation was done correctly.

Do you repair damaged fibre?

Yes, both faulty connectors and breaks along the run.

Do you work with single-mode and multimode fibre?

Yes, we install and certify both.
